Formulation Procedure

Procedure
 (Warm Process)

  1. Combine ingredients of phase A1 and mix (Turbotest® VMI dissolver stirrer) until homogeneous.
    Add phase A2 to phase A1 and mix until homogeneous.
  2. Preblend ingredients of phase B1 and mix until complete dissolution heating to 40°C (magnetic stirrer).
  3. Add ingredients of phase B2 to phase B1 and homogenize (Silverson for 7 min at 7,000 rpm).
  4. Adjust the pH of phase B1B2 to 7 using phase B3.
  5. Slowly incorporate phase B to phase A (Turbotest® VMI dissolver stirrer) increasing the speed progressively.
  6. Successively add ingredients of phase C to phase AB under mixing.
  7. Homogenize the mixture (Silverson for 2 min at 5,000 rpm).
  8. Add phase D to phase ABC under mixing (Turbotest® VMI dissolver stirrer).

Additional Notes

  • Stable 3 months at 4°C, RT and 40°C.
  • Aspect: Gold sparkling peach fluid cream
  • pH = N/A
  • Viscosity (spindle 5; 10 rpm; 1 min) = 4,700 cps (47.0%)
  • Application: Apply evenly on the body. Re-apply every 2 hours for optimal protection
  • Natural Origin % = 73,6
  • SPF in vitro = 85,9
